EssilorLuxottica events bring together students, doctors, and industry leaders in a fun atmosphere to meet, network, and connect. Conversations started at an EssilorLuxottica event often grow into career-long relationships.

Recruiters are available at all events to discuss opportunities with students.

ESSILORLUXOTTICA LIVE!

Students say that EssilorLuxottica Live! tops their list of must-attend events at AOA Optometry’s Meeting each year. Students who attend the EssilorLuxottica Eye Care education session on Thursday morning of the conference receive a wristband to attend that evening’s event.

 

Past years have included a silent disco at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., a bowling/arcade/video game event at Lucky Strike in Denver and a party at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis with a visit from one of the famous Clydesdale horses. What will it be next? You’ll have to attend to find out!

ACADEMY STUDENT RECEPTION

EssilorLuxottica Eye Care welcomes students to Academy with a fun, energy-packed reception to start their time at this annual optometry conference. In Orlando, students strutted their stuff for the first ever EssilorLuxottica Fashion Show showcasing style, spunk and school spirit. To kick off Academy At Home 2020, students showcased their talents in a virtual student talent show with live voting to pick the winner.

SALE FOR SIGHT

EssilorLuxottica Eye Care partners with OneSight to host Sale for Sight, a charity sale offering discounted prices on EssilorLuxottica brand frames (sun and optical) and apparel. Students often volunteer at the sale and are critical to its success. 

Net proceeds of Sale for Sight fund future OneSight clinics (75% of net profits), student travel grants (25% of net profits from Academy sale) and Optometry Cares (25% of net profits from AOA sale). The Sale for Sight event is limited to students and invited guests.
